Block editor, color options not there

    I’d like to change the background color of certain paragraph blocks. I’ve seen a number of tutorials in which there is a color option in the block editor for both background and text. I do not have this option! Any advice on how to get that feature? I have responsive typography under settings and options for letter spacing, text decoration, letter case and drop cap under Styles. But no “Color”.
