Block an IP address

    Hi,

    I have a certain IP address that keeps trying to login to my website. I’ve put it into blacklist manager, but it still keeps trying to login. Is there another way I can block it?

    If that’s the case then it is worth looking into why the .htaccess rules aren’t working in this particular instance.
    Are you using the latest version of aiowps?

    Have you tried some basic troubleshooting? ie,
    – do a simple test and try to block your own or one of your friends’ IP via the blacklist? (Note: if you block yourself you’ll need FTP or cpanel to unblock yourself by deleting your IP from the .htaccess file)

    I had the same issue and found out my ISP is using Microsoft IIS that uses web.config.
    AIOWPS is not writing the .htaccess file correctly when on a IIS server.

    Solution: Do not use the blacklist manager and edit the web.config file
