Blank screen after installing plugin

    When i want to install a new plugin i get a blank screen, so without any warning. So wordpress can’t install or update a new plugin

    When i try to install a plugin manually, i don’t see the plugin appearing in the plugin directory.

    this all happened after changing the database with a previous version.

    i cloned my website a while ago as backup. Then i screwed up my website. and used my backup. I deleted and the tables from the old database and filled it with tables from my newer website.

    Unless the backup was from the same site, that won’t work properly.
