Blank post-sitemap files

    I just noticed recently that my WordPress SEO sitemap feature is generating blank post-sitemap files. The first few pages appear fine (as does the very last one), but the files post-sitemap4.xml to post-sitemap6.xml are empty.

    Presuming that this was a memory issue, I reduced the number of posts per sitemap from 1000 to 600. However, the issue remains. Here’s my sitemap index file:

    http://unrealitytv.com/sitemap_index.xml

    I should mention that the server is running Nginx, but everything else is working fine. Can anyone suggest a way to overcome this?

    I’m having the exact same issue. I have already added rewrite for NGINX as was suggested by FAQ:

    rewrite ^/sitemap_index.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=1 last;
rewrite ^/([^/]+?)-sitemap([0-9]+)?.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=$1&sitemap_n=$2 last;

    Yes, I have already restarted the nginx service after adding this to the .conf file.

    @gerrybot,

    Your sitemap should look fine for the search engines. For humans, it doesn’t, because your configuration (probably w3tc plugin) is blocking the request to http://unrealitytv.com/main-sitemap.xsl that is required to display the sitemap for humans.
