Blank front page

I want to set up agama with a home page with the slider but no blog content – I’ve already set it up as a static page with the slider set to the front page. However, I just want the slider and the menu on the front page so I’ve set the front page as a blank page. This however still leaves a small white bar for the blank page between the slider and the footer. How can I get rid of this white space? Is this possible? I figure I’d have to make a new page template but am unsure.
