@secretbite – How many post do you have on your site? Try resetting Leaf options.

Yes this theme is not really good for fresh new blogs, everything on the home page is set to not duplicate so you don’t have the same post showing up twice on the same page.

You can set the blog page as your home page. Demo Of Blog

To make a blog page create a new page and select the blog template from the meta box on the right side of the editor and publish the page and the go to settings => reading => and select that blog page as your home page
