We hope to implement blackout dates for single appointment types and partial blackout dates in a future release. These two features are currently in our to-do list and we’re planning to consider them soon.

You could try entering appointments on those blackout dates yourself in order to make them unavailable to the customer.. For example, you are going to be away for a week.. go into the scheduler and enter a appointment(s) for that week that fill up your schedule. Then customers will be unable to book during that time.
That’s right @lee-nomedal, if you book out the time slots for yourself you can also block out partial days and specific appointment types.
