i went to upgrade and realized that all my wp database stuff was in the wrong place on mysql server, i moved it to the right place and then when i went to my blog it said that there was no wp installed so run install.php
quite blockheadedly i decided to just run the upgrade.

this is what i got when i ran the upgrade

    WordPress

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nfsn/content/tpu/htdocs/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 56

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘user_nickname’ in ‘field list’]
    SELECT ID, user_nickname, user_nicename FROM wp_users

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nfsn/content/tpu/htdocs/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 114

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nfsn/content/tpu/htdocs/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 122

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nfsn/content/tpu/htdocs/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 248

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nfsn/content/tpu/htdocs/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 298
    Step 1

There’s actually only one step. So if you see this, you’re done. Have fun!

this sucks, my site was up just hours ago i think it has to do woth where the site thinks the database is, in that case should i jjust have to redirect the install to look at where i moved the wp database to.

please if anyone has any idea what i can do email me at
    trimmedinred@gmail.com
    thanks

  • Hmmm… Why does it take 12-13 posts to get a more accurate description of the problem? <sighs>

Do you have both domains hosted on the same server, same location?
Are both WP installs pointing to the same database?
Is it possible that your host corrupted the database while moving here and there?
