Even Hired help cant seem to fix things. πŸ™

My question is if I used headway (no child) to design my website, and I move to a different theme, do I lose the design work?

do I lose the design work?

very likely, as the design is part of the theme’s templates and stylesheets
    – WordPress per se does not have a ‘design’

you should obviously be able to save any images and graphics from your theme, to possibly use in a new theme.

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, try asking the theme’s vendors.

So is there anyway to save the style css in one theme to another?

No, because each theme is coded differently — so the CSS for one theme won’t work (or “connect”) to another. Some of the CSS code might work (because of commonly coded pieces), but it would likely look very strange because the layouts and other appearance details of one theme are not the same as another… Essentially, the “design” of one theme is not usually even relevant to another.

You can easily switch themes — just to see what your content looks like in other themes — it’s one of the great things about the way WP works. So just do some experimenting.

you can save anything – but with a different html structure in the new theme, the css is more-or-less useless.
