That’s fine. Sounds like I’ll be on the move. Did your site experience any down time?
There will be some period when the old site is still on GD but the new address is propagating across the ‘net.
For a “live” site, I guess you’d make the copy and lock the old site down. Then duplicate the site at the new host and make the DNS changes at the registrar. People will find the new site in short order.
@swagsyndicate I’m sorry you’re running into some limit issues currently. That is a limitation on our legacy hosting plans. Our new cPanel, Plesk and Managed WordPress plans do not have this file limitation. We can definitely assist in getting your site to one of our newer plan platforms. Support is also here 24/7 to assist with that move. ^Colby
@godaddy, I am on Managed WordPress and I have both a max file limit problem and directory file limit problem. I will be leaving GoDaddy for a company who doesn’t have those limitations
Hi @swagsyndicate,
Battling hosts!
If you decide to change to DH, please give my email as a referral, [moderated]

@swagsyndicate I believe support miscommunicated. We are actively looking into this for you.
GoDaddy – Can’t upload images, which is a big problem. I have no time for these types of problems
I’m in between Dream Host and MyHosting. Still undecided
Just to help close the loop here, this issue was not due to a directory structure limit, which is not affecting our latest cPanel and Managed WordPress plans. The 1024 is the default pixel limit in the Media Settings for WordPress, this is something that you can change anytime and to anything you desire. Once you correct the settings there you should be fine. You can adjust this within your WordPress Admin panel Under: Settings > Media > Large Size. ^Colby
GoDaddy – That is not what I was told. Your company has no consistency across its support team. Everyone has a different answer which leads me to believe they are not qualified to identify problems correctly.
Sweet!! @godaddy. Thanks, this is exactly what solved my problem. I’ve had the same problem as @swagsyndicate.
LOL. It worked for one image. Now it’s back in the error again. Any other fix @godaddy?
