    Hello,
First of all: Thank you very much for the great theme and your work on it. So far, I had no problems with any update, but with the update 3.3.9 (before 3.3.7) my whole website was shot/shattered. Suddenly I was shown a menu at the menu position “top”, but I have only two menus (at header and bottom) and none at the position “top”. But that was not all: Here (at menu-position “top”) all(!) my menu items were displayed and even more, so: All menu items from my bottom menu and all menu items from my header menu and additionally menu items of a plugin, which I had never activated and deleted months ago!?! (LearnPress).
Further: I also use a static page as a homepage/startpage (called: Home) and the blog extra (called: Blog). Now I was shown as my homepage/startpage my blog(!) page, but the content was not the content of the blog page (articles), but the content of the static homepage (Home). It was “mixed”.

Luckily I have another website with the theme “hueman”, which I haven’t updated for a time. There I was able to back up the Hueman version 3.3.6 and installed it back again on my shattered website.
Now I have an older version of the theme Hueman, but now everything is correct again. The page is up and running again as it should look and run.
This for your information. I will do without further updates at the moment. It would be great, if a further update than 3.3.9 is running okay again, but I will be careful and try it on another site first…

Please continue und keep running your good work!
    Thanks!

  • Hi,

For your issue on Topbar menu.
If you are not using it, you have to go to Appearance -> Customize -> Header Design -> Header Menus
Find the setting -> Topbar menu : Use a default page menu if no menu has been assigned.
Uncheck this option and save changes.

As for your second issue. I am not able to replicate it.
If you have a child theme with custom templates, you will need to update them according to changes in Hueman theme.

    Thank you

    Hi,
thank you for your quick response.
I have implemented your proposal, but not updated the Hueman Theme to 3.3.9 yet, because I have the “mixed problem” of the static home page and the blog page, which you can’t replicate. So I can’t try at the moment, if the menu-issue would gone with this configuration (I will try later). In the future I will try other updates of the theme on a “sample page” and then if no errors happen, again on my productive site.
    Thanks!

    You are welcome.
    Thank you

    Hi,
today I tried again to load the last update 3.3.11 Hueman Theme, but I still have the same problem like with the update 3.3.9: My static startpage is no longer shown as “own” page, but appears in the content area of my blog page (see “issue 2” in my my previous post). Luckily I had backed up a version of the Hueman Theme 3.3.7, I installed it and now my page looks/shows right again.

As an additional hint to you (maybe this helps):
I designed my “static page” using the “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” plug-in. This has worked up to version 3.3.8 without problems. Since the Hueman Theme version 3.3.9 unfortunately no more. Can it be related to this? Maybe you can replicate my problem with it …?!?

    Best regards!
