Hi Lana,
Are you using the Lite version or the Pro version?
Can you point us to your website please?
Sorry for the trouble, this sounds like a JavaScript conflict most probably, but I’ll know more once we can see your website to figure out what the problem could be.
I am using the lite version. and the site is http://www.tcstallionincentive.com
One more issue i just noticed. When bidders set a max bid, it allows multiple bids of the same amount. For example ($10 increments) if person A sets a bid amount of 1000 and the auction slowly rises to 990, then Person B bids at 1000, it allows an auto bid by person A of 1000 also. Therefore both Person A and B have bids at $1000
?????
Your first problem is that you’ve put all your auctions on one Post/Page. It may seem to be working but there are errors that could popup because all auctions are in one Post/Page, plus I assume it must be very very confusing for your users.
It’s a use case scenario we don’t support, do not test against or advise.
All auctions sites on the web separate their auctions into single Pages. This is common. So please embed each auction into it’s own Post/Page.
To add to my comment above:
We always recommend that auctions are placed on a single page, as per our documentation. Placing multiple auctions on the same page is not a supported scenario and can give rise to errors, these errors are not an inherent flaw in the plugin but rather can happen due to incorrect use of it.
Thanks I did this. I appreciate the info because i will be doing this auction each year for a long time.
What about the auto bid making a second bid at the same price as the last when it reaches maximum?
As for the auto bid up to the same amount, the one who placed it first would be the eventual winner if the bid price does not go above the last placed bid.
