Best settings for SEO?

What are the best settings for SEO? I’m moving 52,000+ articles from Joomla to WordPress. Page rank is 5, don’t want to lose anything.

Currently am trying the following settings:

SEO: Import the meta description and the meta keywords to WordPress SEO by Yoast
X Set the meta data from menus instead of articles
Set the post slugs from menus instead of aliases
Keep the Joomla articles IDs
X Redirect the Joomla URLs
Partial import:
expand / collapse
sh404sef:
X Redirect the URLs
Keep the URLs

I have sh404sef. My URLs in Joomla look like this:

There doesn’t seem to be a way for me to duplicate what I have in Joomla.

I am building the WordPress version of this site in a subdirectory of the main Joomla directory.
