Best practices: Importing CSV data into WordPress

    I have a project coming up that will mean moving data from one site (SQL Server DB) to WordPress. The data in question is primarily pages and blog posts.

    I’m going to export all the data to a CSV file and then use WP Ultimate CSV Importer Plugin to map the data to WordPress fields and custom fields.

    I know some data types in SQL Server and MySQL are different, is there anything else I should be considering here?

    I’ve only done a data migration once before between 2 mySQL databases, so i hope i’m not in over my head 🙂
