Best Practice: Remove Elementor (relaunch?)

    Hi guys,

    we want to buy a shop (woo) and it is made with elementor.
    The performance of the shop is very bad, so we want to go with a custom theme and remove it.

    whats the best way to do it? without breaking the website, seo rankings etc.
    do we have to do a full relaunch?

    i have over 3 years webdev experience but none with wordpress yet.

    Hey,

    Elementor nests everywhere. You can’t simply convert what the plugin left behind. The best thing to do is to create a staging web and copy all the content you need from old to new by hand.
