    Hi there,

is it correct, that if I want to begin again with no “bloat” from a former translation, I just have to delete the _trp tables in my database? So I don’t have to deinstall and reinstall the plugin but only clean the _trp tables?

I’m not sure if I oversee something.

    Thank you in advance!!
    Best regards

  • Hello there,

Yes, that’s all you need to do. Delete the _trp_* tables and then go to Settings -> TransaltePress -> General tab and press the “Save Changes” button. This will regenerate all the _trp_* tables you need for your site.

Thank you for the quick reply!
Is it also needed to additionally clean the trp entries in the wp_options or not?

    Hello,

That isn’t really needed, but if you want to be sure you are starting “fresh” you can delete those as well.

You can find a better explanation about everything you need to delete by following this link.

    Hi Christian! Thanks for that!
So it’s only needed to clean the further tables if I want to reset the plugin completely. If I just want to clean translations and translate again with the same presettings, it’s just cleaning the wp-trp_ tables, no?

    Hello again,

Yes, clearing the _trp_* tables is all you need to do. Don’t forget to go to the General tab and Save changes so all the tables you need for your project are regenerated.

    Best regards,
    Cristian
