    This plugin sets the standard for mail sending from a WordPress both in the ease of setup through the wizard to the diagnostics if something is wrong. The inbuilt PHP WordPress mailing function never seems to hit the mark for reliability and this plugin not only delivers the mail but logs a schedule that records delivery to the SMTP server of your choice.
    It works with just about any mail setup your host will permit including Mandrill and Gmail and is very much a required plugin on any serious WordPress site.
