• I love the way this site looks but it has problems. The banner is why I like the theme but your Frontpage must be a blank page or it will interfer. So I decided to disable the banner but I cannot add any content to the Frontpage. DO NOT attempt to make your homepage your frontpage, you risk losing the content of your homepage.

I was reluctant to change themes but I found a theme that worked with minimal loss of content or format.

I DO NOT recommend this theme, however, it might do well with a GDS. I did not try that.

    Hello @readysetsail,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to explain your experience.

We understand the confusion you faced with the homepage and banner settings. However, we would like to clarify that this behavior is related to how WordPress handles front page settings, rather than an issue with the theme itself.

Our theme uses a dedicated Front Page template that is managed through the Customizer, instead of the default page editor. If a homepage was already created before activating the theme, it needs to be manually assigned as the Front Page by going to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Reading. You can check this screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/buXHNfTGK7CS

    Because of this:

    • Your existing homepage content was not lost; it was just not set as the active front page.
    • The banner and layout behavior you noticed is part of the theme’s design.
    • Disabling the banner does not prevent adding content, but the correct page/template needs to be selected.

We understand this can be a bit confusing at first, and we are here to help.

Please reach out to our official support team, and we will guide you step-by-step and provide a complete solution for your setup.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we look forward to assisting you.

    Best regards,
