BB Press Integration – how do I do both groups and forums?

Hi! I want to use the groups Profile Grid offers for each of the forums I want to offer on my site. Most forums (and therefore groups) would be closed and require request to join and filling out the registration form. I have premium, so I have all the extensions, and I toggle on the bb press extension in Profile Grid. I can’t figure out how to make the two work together, however. I tried reading the support documentation, but so far I’ve only found sales type pages, not instructions for this plug in combination.

Can someone point me to clear information or steps on how to build the two together as described above?

Hi,

Enabling bbPress Integration from the Global Settings will add three new options related bbPress plugin to each ProfileGrid Group. You can check out these options by clicking on the ‘Settings’ link on any ProfileGrid Group.

After enabling the tabs from Group settings, you will see those in user profiles.

If a user is a member of multiple groups, then the priority will be of the first group’s bbPress settings joined by the user. So, if the forum tab setting is enabled for the first group the user joined, then the forum tab will display on the user’s profile.
