Hi there. I am hoping you can steer me in the right direction here – I am very new to WordPress and this entire process is a bit daunting. I downloaded Jetpack to protect my site and I’d just like to know how I go about running a basic backup quickly. I want to attempt to create my own templates but just in case something goes wrong, I’d like to be able to come back. Any chance of some guidance…?

    Thank you kindly!
    Binx

Jetpack does offer a backup solution but you’ll need to purchase one of our plans to access and enable that option.

You can do so by going to Jetpack > Dashboard > Plans in your dashboard. You’ll learn more about our plans there, and you can then click a link to purchase a plan. Once your purchase is complete, we’ll automatically configure your site so a backup starts right away.

If you’d rather use a free plugin, you can look at the options available in the plugin directory:

    I hope this helps.
