Bar not showing

hi

after upgrading to wp 4.2.2 my notification bar stopped showing. sometimes i can see a brief flash of it, so maybe a layering issue? i tried changing the z-index of div@notifybar. any suggestions?

i am using a theme from themeforest, ristorante
