Hi there, I’m new to Word Press, and rather lost. Someone created a page and it has a banner, and I’m supposed to change something on the banner…
(where the Facebook icon links to, etc.)
I don’t know where it is, or how to find it. I see the various pages… however the banner content doesn’t seem to be on them…?

    totally lost.

In the plugins, I don’t see any custom banner plugin.

Any, All help is greatly appreciated!!!

what theme is used in the site?

can you provide a live link to the site to illustrate the issue?

    have you reviewed http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development

    Thanks for your help.

    the site is: http://www.hardonsj.org/

the theme says: A child theme of Divi. This is a custom child theme

So, another thing I’m supposed to do is create a page “newsletter” and put it in the slide out menu under: Archive and Guild . .

one can search for the page, then click on newsletter, and the correct page shows up, however, it won’t show up in the menu… grrrrrrrrr

In wordpress, I went to Appearance, edit menu, menu structure…. it has a list of most of the menu items, but not all. I dropped “newsletter” there, however it still doesn’t show up when I go to the real page.

    ? I’m confused.

Meanwhile, with the top part of the banner where the Facebook icon is… I can’t even find that at all. : (

And, when I try to change the picture next to ShiiLo, I figure that would be under “View your profile” and wordpress says “user not found” …lol… that’s an odd looking picture…

O hooray! I finally figured it out.

“Divi Theme options” is where info about the banner is.

And with the menus, there are different menus, the side one and the bottom one, and they are all worked on at the same place… so you have to select which menu to edit… duh!!!

Thank You for your help!!!!!!!!!! I would have never guessed that all that was hidden in the “theme”
