“Banned IP address.”

    Hello, recently I tried to comment on a favorite blog of mine. I had never commented before, so I registered… but received this error message: “ERROR: Banned IP address.”

    Why can’t I register and comment on this blog…?

    Your IP address has been banned. It could be a simple error, it’s happened to me once also on a blog I had never even visited before. See if there is a way to contact the author to let him/her know of the situation.

    any idea why an IP address gets banned? I’ve read the blog a couple of times, that’s it.

    Hi,

    You need to contact blog admin for the exact reason behind the banned the IP adderss. It may be possible that if blog is hosted on cPanel server, if you tried to login with wrong details three to five times then server firewall many blocked your IP address.
