I’ve set up Woocommerce to offer bank payment.
When the customer gets to checkout and selects direct bank payment nothing happens, no customer bank fields show.
if you then select “process order” it does so but only shows our own bank details and the order doesnt advance whatever status is applied.

How do I get the customer bank fields to appear so they can be filled in and the order processed?

    Hey there,

When you’re using the default Bank Transfer option in WooCommerce, customers are shown the information they would need to transfer the funds to your account. There aren’t any fields to be filled in.

    Here’s how it works:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/bacs/

If you’d like a different type of bank transfer, for example where the funds are withdrawn from the customer’s bank account, then you’ll need a payment gateway plugin that can handle that. An example is Stripe:

    Hi Hannah,
    I have Stripe set up.
We were hoping to have an option where a club member can pay by direct bank transfer as an alternative to using a debit card.
If this can’t work might as well bin Woocommerce and see if there is an alterntive.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi @hscwebmaster

The method fernashes described is what I believe you were asking about? The Direct Bank Transfer (BACS) option lets you give instructions to your customers for sending you a bank transfer.

When you set up that payment method via WooCommerce > Settings > Payments, you will enter your account name and number, bank name, routing number, IBAN and/or SWIFT/BIC numbers and it will be shown to customers on the Order Received page and in Order emails after checking out. They can then use that information to send you the bank transfer.
