BadgeOS and BuddyBoss Plugin Conflicts

    It appears that BadgeOS plguin conflicts BuddyBoss Forum’s bembedded link editor. To reproduce the issue.

    1. With only BuddyBoss installed, post replies in forum with embedded hyper links. Everything works as expected (Please see the video clip below for more details).

    2. Install and activate BadgeOS plugin on the same site. Post replies in forum with embedded hyper links. The link text remains after, but embedded link disappears.

    3. Deactivate BadgeOS. Post in BuddyBoss forum with new replies, embedded links work again.

    We are able to reproduce the issue in vanilla WordPress environment where there are no other plugins are installed.

    We did contact BuddyBoss support. They confirmed that they were able to reproduce the issue in their DEV environment but were not able to assist us. Instead, they suggested us to reach out to BadgeOS support.

    Hi @pathwise

    Since BuddyBoss is a premium theme and don’t have access to it therefore, we are unable to reproduce the issue. Please elaborate the issue a bit more.

    • What version of BuddyBoss theme you are using?
    • What other plugins/add-ons you are using along with BadgeOS?
    • It would be good if you can provide us some more technical detail of this issue provided by BuddyBoss support.
