BackWPup Restore for LOCALHOST

hello,
well, my computer crashed and I lost all WP data for my soon-to-be active website, luckily I made a backup (using BackWPup) and copied it to DropBox. I cannot find a way to actually restore that backup onto my new copy of Bitnami/WP, sitting on my Localhost computer. Can ANYBODY please show me a 100% successful method to do this as I cannot find anything on the internet explaining it for my situation, most have active websites for it to work?
