Backward compatibility. User testing

Testing version 4.1 – a couple of shortcodes are still not working properly.

The [button] shortcode is not accepting the color style hex properly. For example, my site uses #f47920 (a shade of orange) for all button colors, but all buttons are blue.

The [note] shortcode no longer works with custom CSS on .su-note:hover. I realize this will impact an extremely small amount of users, so I may just need to update my CSS to accommodate the new code. But it’s possible it is more problematic than I think so I will mention it.

I posted in another thread that the recent SU upgrade has caused major headaches in my admin area (All Pages does not come up) and in actual page editing (the full page never loads, and I cannot actually edit the page contents). When I disable SU, the problems go away.

These problems started when I upgraded last week. I have made sure I am on the latest available version of the plugin 4.1.0 and have checked the Compatibility box and turned off the special formatting as per previous suggestions from the author.

I think this plugin is very useful, and appreciate the work that’s gone into it. However, I’d simply like to get a version that will not break my site!

I can send WP admin login info if that would be useful.

Let me first say I really appreciate Ultimate Shortcodes, and I am very happy you are working on backward compatibility.

However, when I update to 4.1.0., Revolution Slider shortcodes do not work. I am using the Genesis theme. Any tips?

I actually un-checked the two boxes in settings, and this seemed to fix it.

Every shortcode seems to work now using 4.1.0.
