Backup takes hours

    The time it takes for the backup to complete depends on the size and number of files it needs to be backup combined with the speed/resources of your server.

    Thanks but I have already read the article. Until then, the backup took between 30 minutes and 1 hour. Now it takes about 1 day (18-20h) to do it.
    It usually takes place at night around 10:30 p.m.
    I reduced the file size from 400 to 200mb.
    Size of the site indicated by Updraft plus:
    Extensions: 289.8 MB
    Themes: 16.6 MB
    Uploads: 9.2 GB
    Others: 62.6 MB

    Hi,

    I would say that you have pretty large uploads component. I suggest optimizing the uploads component. This can help to improve the performance of the plugin and prevent any issues with large uploads in the future.
