Hi, I was trying to do a backup of my website using the UpdraftPlus plugin, however, it stops at a quarter of the loading bar and I don’t know what to do.
I’ve already tried to reduce the backup archive split size to 100Mb, but this didn’t help either.

    Here’s the log: https://pastebin.com/QeYrDdJK

    What should I do?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi,

Could you reduce the split archive size further down to 25mb?

Then attempt a new backup process and see if that allows you to complete the backup.

    Thanks,

This doesn’t seem to work either. Do you have any other ideas what I should try?

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi,

Thank you and apologies for the delay.

I can see that the backup gets killed off while backing up the plugins component even when the split size is set to 25mb (lowest possible). This is a common issue for servers that have low resource server capacity. The best way to resolve the issue is to ask your host/server admin to increase your server resources such as I/O limit, maximum_execution_timeout and site memory.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle
