Would you please tell us if you checked the docs, as sometimes some server configuration could cause the backup to stop.

Hi Vardan,
Thanks for the fast response. The system was with the wait message and later disappeared. I am also trying to find what has happened as i wanted to take a backup of my site. But for server side configuration i would need to contact hosting provider, as i am just a small site on wordpress.

Hello,
From what you have described, it looks like, the backups was not even initiated, which mostly happens when either the request to start did not reach your backend or there is some firewall blocking the request.
