    Hello,

I am trying to create a backup for a site, but it won’t work.

    My code is: BMI-KtAYJUpj-10632

I don’t know what the issue is, I have also tried a different backup plugin and same thing there, some type of bug happens and it won’t work. I’ve tried different times. I know the instructions said to “give more information” when posting in this forum, but I do not have any – I go to try to backup the site, it loads for maybe 30 seconds before I get an error message saying something went wrong.

What can the problem be? All help is appreciated, thanks.

    Hello @tonyqm ,

Your debug code, tells me that the backup was cancelled by Apache Web Server.
It was most likely caused by KeepAliveTimeout directive in Apache configuration.

We have alternate backup method, that can bypass this limitation.
Simply, follow below steps, there are also other things you can improve.

Please open first section of the plugin named: “What will be backed up?”
Find subsection named: “Exclude by folder / file name (case-sensitive)”
Here add these three rules, like on image: https://prnt.sc/9oftADPd_Z7e

Once you do that, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to “Other options” section
    2. Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa
    3. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    4. Save “Other options” section
    5. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm

When you do that, try to run your backup once again.

Let me know if that worked for you 🙂
    Thank you!
