Backup failed.

    Hi there,
    I’ve got a little problem backing up my wordpress. It takes really long but finally the backup aborts with no clear message.

    Really keen if someone could help. Attached the last log file.

    Hi Eike,

    There only seems to be a few seconds of that log file – is there no more? The early parts of the log indicate that other backup attempts went much much further. If you download the same log now, is it longer? (Best to post at pastebin.com or somewhere similar – the wordpress.org forum moderators don’t really like log files being posted directly, as they’re a bit too long for a forum format).

    Hi,

    The pattern suggests that in your options table, there is an entry (i.e. individual row) that is huge and exhausts memory. If you can find the PHP error log, you may find that it records running out of memory.

    It might be possible to work around this by putting this in your wp-config.php, near the top:

    define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_ALWAYS_TRY_MYSQLDUMP’, true);

    thank you… There was a lot of spam-entrys in the database.. Just erased that and it works fine..

    I’m having the same problem – How did “blondsign” erase the spam entries in the database?
