Backup creation overwhelming server

    Our backups are scheduled to complete around 2am in the morning and save to dropbox. The backups are ~2.4GB in size and have been freezing our server which needs restarted following every backup. How can this be avoided?

    @adamgroth, have you tried to enable “Background” mode in the scheduler profile? And finally, does this happen only with scheduled automatic backups? I mean, manual backups are ok?
