Background video rounded border

Hi guys!
Would there be any way to do what is being shown in the first image (ignore the arrow “this line” in the first pic)? In this case, this figure on the left with D format will be a looping video without the video controls.
In the second image I tried to increase the height of the video by css but nothing happened. I tried to change the screen aspect ratio setting too and the only one that increased the video was 9:16 but it was huge, standing on top of other elements. I also tried to increased the column by css, with the the video in, and I thought it would be possible to do the same with the video, but nothing done … how can I get this result from the first image?
In another forum I was given the idea of placing as background video, but it is only possible to place background video within the section which makes the video fill the entire page making it impossible to place it only on the left, as shown in the image. And it is also not possible to place video as a background in a column, if it would not be easier this way, placing it on the left.

I would be grateful if someone could help me with any solution because I need to deliver it to a customer and I don’t know what else to do …. thank you in advance!
