Background / Sprite Image Not Uploading

    I’m trying to upload an image to replace the arrows for a slider, but the image isn’t changing. I’m replacing the image in the folder it was originally in and it’s just not working. Does it take a while for WordPress to pick up my image if I’m using FTP?
