Background Images not Displaying

Hi there,

Yesterday I did a domain name change from temporary domain (nikitar9.sg-host.com) to my permanent domain (idowebsitedesign.com).

Almost everything has transferred over apart from some background images. I’ve done search and replace for the old domain to new domain on a plugin, with Elementor and on Siteground and also cleared the cache on the site and through Siteground but the images still aren’t displaying. I’ve also tried changing the images manually but they still are not showing.

It seems to be specifically the background images. In Elementor in the backend they appear, but when I go to the live site they are nowhere to be seen.

The images that are on the site also seem to be quite slow to load which they weren’t before I did the domain transfer.

My console is showing the following errors on the home page:

I’ve been in contact with Siteground support who have said this “I checked the URL structure in-depth and indeed I see all links both via Elementor and in the site database were updated entirely, so there are no leftover links from the temp domain present with the website, thus that appears to be a glitch with Elementor itself in this specific regard, since indeed as you’ve mentioned when you edit the pages the background images appear correctly. further testing “Regenerate CSS & Data” option of Elementor I see it also makes no difference, so you can potentially try to reduce the Elementor version to 3.14.0 or 3.13.4 from: Elementor > Tools > Verstion Control”

I’ve rolled back to the previous version with no effect and also updated to 3.14.1 with no effect.

Siteground has advised contacting you and mentioning “You can confirm with their team that we’ve tested – permissions, disabled caching entirely and ensured there are no blocks on server level to prevent the execution of the Elementor plugin”
