Background image needs IMPROVEMENT

I have been trying for 6h to do a very simple thing, yet IMPOSSIBLE with elementor.

I have two kind of elements on my homepage :

– Images inside sections (with image widget)
– Images as column background

While the images from image widgets are resized while keeping their proportions when going to mobile view, images set as column background are truncated on the top and the bottom. I found absolutely no way to make the whole image display on screen.

Here is how background image (top) look compared to image from image widget (bottom) :

Adding padding top and bottom don’t work because it adds unnecessary white blank space on top and bottom when resized in mobile view.

There is no settings in elementor to make a column fit the background image height, which is lacking.

Unless there is a way to do it, I won’t purchase pro version for my clients 🙁
