Hi, I’m having the same problem with my page.
Right now the section where I have a problem with displaying background image is disabled but if someone would like to help, I’d really appreciate it.

You can add URL of your own image whatever image you want in the background.

The ribbon section’s background is grey on my laptop computer (no image).
The image in the background seems to be working on a tablet or a smartphone…

Sorry for bothering you all with this problem. Actually it turned out that after choosing again the photo in the “personalize” tab of the theme, it stared working again without any problem 🙂
Btw, your code Amit worked (at least on my page) in a way that it was changing the background of the photo in the main section (this first one that you see when you enter the page). After changing the class to the hestia-ribbon it had some problems with making it a bit darker (I assume I didn’t use proper style by calling this in Additional CSS). My CSS skills are terrible so I don’t know how to call style manually from Additional CSS window.
Anyway, everything is working right now.

I’m using right now two plugins
– Cookiebot
– GDPR Cookie Consent
Unfortunately Cookiebot requires subscription and since this page is just a small one I will cancel the trial and stick to this second plugin. Also I don’t know how much of this GDPR stuff is concerning my webpage since I don’t use any tracking there (except simple statistics but even without collecting IP or sth). Also I don’t use any ads and I don’t have comments section. I’m just not sure if I have to give people any choice by entering the webpage because all the cookies that my webpage is using are the essential ones and webpage won’t run without them.
Well, I’m having the same trouble. But testing it on diferent browsers i realized that is a google chrome issue. How can we solve that?

I had the grey color on top of my about and ribbon section, mainly affecting Chrome. This seemed to fix it. That being said it was coming and going for a while so take this with a pinch of salt.

Still in the Ribbon section, this time, as I would like to add a video instead of an image, I enter a code for a youtube teaser.
When i modify in the Customizer, it appears well and works. But after, on the homepage, at the Ribbon section, we just see the button on the right. And no vidéo.
Is it normal?
