BackDraft Backup process used all CPU; 500 Internal Server Error

    We have 3 websites on the same server filespace. UpdraftPlus works fine on two of the three.

    However, on loweprunerscanada.com, I clicked Backup and stayed on the page. It wouldn’t complete. It seemed to be coming up with zero-sized zip files, and then restarting. I would cancel the Backup, and start another one, with the same results.

    So, I checked the “debug” checkbox, and clicked the “Debug Full Backup” button. This immediately resulted in taking down all three of our websites. (They returned 500 Internal Server Error.)

    We killed the backup processes, and the websites worked again.

    Then I clicked “Delete Schedule” beside the running backup, but these processes are still running:

    Hi,

    Try telling UpdraftPlus to use a different zip engine; to do this, put this near the top of your wp-config.php:

    define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true);
