• I have tried the auto back-up through WP and it didn’t seem to work. Now I am trying to use BackupBuddy and I get the following message;

    WordPress may have been detected in one or more subdirectories. Backing up multiple instances of WordPress may result in server timeouts due to increased backup time. Detected locations:
    /blog/,/wordpress.data/

    What do I need to do to get this fixed or changed so I can finally get backed-up, and update to the newer WP?

    There is no auto-backup in WP, so you must have used a plugin for that. Remove that plugin for starters.

    BackupBuddy is a paid plugin, which comes with support.

    http://ithemes.com/forum/ is their forums, go ask there how to make it work 🙂
