Awesome plugin, but two questions…

    First of all, let me just say thanks to the developers of this plugin…at first, it looked really confusing, and I kept going to look at other membership plugins, but when I took the time to read the instructions, it wasn’t that difficult at all….and I’m really happy so far with how it’s all going. I want to upgrade soon to the PRO version but have a couple of questions first.

    I currently have 2 levels, monthly subscription and lifetime access. (I run an eBooks site). I want to add a level that allows users to download so many books in a day for a one off payment. My question is…because I don’t have a free level (free books don’t require registration), what happens to that user when their download limit is reached?

    I’m assuming they can still log in, but will only be able to download free books again. Is that correct?

    Also, how easy is it to make the move over to Pro? I’m really not that brilliant at this stuff, would love to upgrade in the next week or so, but am unsure if it’s going to cause any problems with settings and the like.

    Yes.

    It’s very easy. Pro doesn’t touch your current settings. In fact, all it does is add an extra folder, which (on the first occasion only) you upload by FTP. Updates can be done from within the dashboard.

    If possible, could you also answer one more thing…when I look at my traffic stats, I sometimes see a url like this:

    Do you have any idea why they are reaching that weird url?

    The reason for that sort of URL is that someone has been redirected to the Membership Options Page and you have Enable MOP Vars set to Yes.

    What that setting does is add details to the MOP URL of what the redirected visitor was trying to access.

    It’s usually a good idea to keep this setting because it helps not only for all sorts of more sophisticated redirects but also for debugging of any problems you run into.
