Awesome Plugin But…

I recently installed this plugin on a fresh membership site to give it a test run and it was awesome. The shortcodes worked perfectly.

I noticed that you needed the PRO version to send your own custom emails, so I installed another custom email plugin and it didn’t work. Then I tried a second and still nothing. I tried a third and nothing.

None of my emails went out, not the default WP emails nor my custom emails I had set. This is when I decided to disactivate this affiliates plugin because I knew it was causing the errors.

…Still none of my emails went out, even after deleting the plugin.

I had to use the WPDBSpringClean plugin to get rid of some of the left over files left behind by other plugins and all of them were left behind from this plugin.

And just like magic, my custom emails started going out!

You might want to fix this. I don’t know the files exactly being that I deleted them. I would go back install it, delete it, and check the leftover files but my troubleshooting with this plugin has reached the max.

I ended up going with a different plugin and rated this 3 stars for this reason.

FYI: If it wasn’t for the email fail delivery problem, this plugin would have been perfect (for me anyways).
