    Video and Parallax Backgrounds for WordPress | AWB Plugin

    Even your own webpage looks without any parallax or video play functionality?

    My website worked fine last time I checked just before the weekend.

    I rolled back to 1.12.11, but it is still not great. Video BG not filling the section for instance. At least parallax and video autoplay is working again.

    Hi,

    Our demo site works correctly and displays video and parallax without issues in all browsers. Check your browser console for errors.

    Home – NED engineering

    This is the page where I am using your plugin. After rollback, the video autoplays and parallax works. But now the first video (w. parallax) doesn’t fill up the entire container. And the second video neither. The 3rd video is properly positioned. Although videos 2 and 3 have the same settings, just another video.

    In Gutenberg editor, all videos appear as being parallax.

    I think my page is working again. Positioning was my own problem with video layout (black top/bottom banners :/)

    But your demo site is not showing any parallax and such in my Edge browser 🤷‍♂️

    Hi,

    I have updated your plugin to 1.13.0 on my staging site; NEDe Staging – . The parallax bg do not parallax. The videos do not play.

    I have version 1.12.11 on my live site; NED Engineering – Van Schets Tot Succes . Everything works.

    Hi,

    On your staging site, all sections with parallax appear to work correctly, and there are no errors in the browser console. Which browser and version are you using? I can’t reproduce these issues on macOS or Windows.

    Hi,

    So, okay. I did some testing and it is really weird, so wonder you can’t replicate the issue.

    The ‘problem’ was on my desktop PC. Windows 11, browser Edge, version: 154.0.4258.48

    Staging site: ❌, Live site: ✅

    I opened my laptop. Windows 11, browser Edge, version: 154.0.4258.48

    Staging site: ✅, Live site: ✅

    When I checked Edge version, it automatically started downloading an update. Installed on both laptop and desktop -> version 154.0.4258.53 , so no major update. Result is: Staging site: ✅, Live site: ✅, for both machines.

    I checked with Opera browser, was already installed on my laptop version: (136.0.6008.52): Staging site: ✅, Live site: ✅

    I installed Opera on desktop PC (136.0.6008.80): Staging site: ❌ (videos are working though), Live site: ✅

    Weird right? Newer Opera or desktop causes issue now. So I update Opera on laptop -> result: Staging site: ✅, Live site: ✅.

    So fair to say that the desktop is locally doing something incorrectly? Is that even possible?

    PS: both machines run the same build of W11. There are updates now available for W, so maybe that changes things. Will update this message asap.

    UPDATE: Windows did some updates on both laptop and desktop. Situation remains the same ->Parallax works every except the staging site in Opera on desktop. 🤷‍♂️
