Hello,
Thank you for your review. The continuous stream of updates is there to make sure that you receive the latest improvements, fixes and new features. We’re worried about software that doesn’t get updated for weeks or months. It just shows that developers either don’t put too much effort into their product or don’t really care about it. PeepSo is a stable product that’s kept up to date.
When you decided to purchase the bundle, you’ve been notified upon purchase that it comes with a subscription. You’ve also must have agreed to the refund policy. It’s not possible to make a purchase without it.
We notify everyone about upcoming renewals a week before a payment is processed. You’ve had every single opportunity and tools to manage your subscription and renewal. We’ve done nothing unethical on our side of things. We’re very open about everything and aren’t hiding any charges for any of our paid products.

@peepso Why did you tag this review “mod look, modlook”?
There is nothing here that needs any input from any moderator. This is a valid review.
@jdembowski this review has very little or even nothing to do with the PeepSo plugin listed on: wordpress.org

You are wrong. And you invite all reviews like this when you upsell and use your plugin page as an advertisement for your services.
There are no customers here, just opensource users of code. There are no companies here, just people who have contributed their opensource code and time. Commercial, pro, refund conversations have no place in these forums.
The one exception is reviews. When a plugin or theme upsells either here or in the user’s dashboard then that feedback is permitted.
This review is feedback and it will be allowed to remain. Any of your customers for the “pro” or services related to this plugin are invited to leave a review related to this plugin, premium or not.
Basically the 1* is because:
1. there is nothing wrong with the plugin
2. the user hates regular updates
3. the user signs legal contracts without reading T&C, clicks “I read and agree to refund policy” without either reading or agreeing to it
4. the client thus enters a legally binding paid subscription but then decides to keep their eyes firmly shut in hopes the renewal process won’t find them, instead of cancelling the sub
5. the client ignores automated e-mails warning them about an upcoming renewal
6. it’s now all our fault because we refuse to refund people who aren’t treating us seriously
And, as usual, the 1* that has nothing to do with the quality of the plugin and is based 100% on the users false “customer is always right” assumption – that stays forever as the mod team keeps deleting positive reviews “because reasons”.

@jaworskimatt If you’ve a problem with any of the moderation team then feel free to contact Otto via otto[at]wordpress.org. The moderators moderate the forums and he moderates them.

That’s gross misrepresentation and completely inaccurate. You intentionally disregarded the part where I explained how you invited these reviews.
When a review is removed it is always for cause and that’s always due to something abusive. You don’t have to like that and your agreement isn’t sought in those decisions.
If that’s too much for you then you have a recourse. Contact the plugins team via plugins[at]wordpress.org and ask them to close your plugin on the repo. I believe that will also prevent new reviews from being left though the old one will remain.
As this review and your reply have turned argumentative, I’m closing this review from further comments. As I wrote, feel free to contact Otto about this if you choose.
