Hi @lauratraveler,
You should not fix this, it is configured correctly. For SSL, a request should pass both variations of your domain. See for more information:
https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/avoid-landing-page-redirects/
If you don’t want to use the best practice redirect, this article will also tell you how to handle that.
Hi, please I have the same problem, I installed Really simple SSL but it still the same issue! when i test the speed of the website in Gtmetrix it give me this message :”Avoid landing page redirects for the following chain of redirected URLs.”
Thank you for your help

Hi @ghilo
in our opinion it’s not an issue to have two redirects in a chain (see https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/avoid-landing-page-redirects/). You can also refer to that article to bypass the redirect.

But there will be no problem afterwards because of Google Organic SEO, as it will disappear http and www? (Avoid landing page redirects)

Can you help me to improve.
*Avoid landing page redirects
*Defer parsing of JavaScript
*Minify CSS
is there to get 100% Gtmetrix?
Very thanks!

No, there is no problem with SEO. gtmetrix does not take security best practices into account.
Our recommendation is to leave it as it is. As you can read in the article
https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/avoid-landing-page-redirects/
There is no speed issue, and we have in all websites not once seen even the slightest impact on SEO.
For deferring of javascript and minification, I would recommend to install a good caching plugin.
Which do you recommend to install plugin for javascript and minification

@rbrsbo most of the caching plugins support JS minification. You can use any of those. See https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/caching/
