    Hello Guys,

    Congratulating for making this wonderful plugin. Is there any option for checking if the user is logged and if then avoid confirmation mail. If not how can I implement the same without affecting the updates of the plugin. I tried double optin and single optin. I need double opt in, but confirmation mail will be send only users which are not logged in in my website.

    Thanks
    Deepesh

    Are you using the free wp users integration extension? You should find there the option to send or not the activation email.

    Stefano.

    Hello @satollo

    I tried to install the free extension and configured the settings as below.

    But still when a user is loggedIn, its asking for mail confirmation.

    Thanks in Advance

    Which message does the user receive?

    @satollo

    I loggedIn as user, and I tried to submit the newsletter. Then I got confirmation mail asking Confirmation Message template for subscription.

    Thanks

    Hi, the wp user integration extension is used during the user registration on WP, not for subscription of a logged in user. So it does not act in this case. The regular subscription does not check if there is a user logged in, it just registers and email address. And the submitted address could be different from the logged in user address.

    Automatically confirming that email means one can create an account and register spam addresses freely.

    Anyway, I’ll check if we can add an option to better consider the case of a logged in user.

    Stefano.

    Thanks for the info! Is thery any hooks available for this requirement? We don’t want to modify the core files, since it will lost after newsletter update or Can you provide a solution for the same?

    Thanks in advance
