    Hi! Yes, we fully support AVIF as well as WebP.

    The plugin uses Imagick to resize the image locally on your server. If the installed version does not support transparency in AVIF (older version than 6.9.12-68, see Debian issue ticket), it will fall back to WebP for images with transparency automatically so that everything works correctly.
