Avatar – Maximum Rating

    Hi
    I am able to create an avatar through
    http://en.gravatar.com/ and able to display in my wordpress site.

    But Please clarify the meaning of the below.

    G — Suitable for all audiences
    PG — Possibly offensive, usually for audiences 13 and above
    R — Intended for adult audiences above 17
    X — Even more mature than above

    Whether this will filter based on age of the registered users? how this will work?

    Please clarify

    Any site that displays Gravatars is able to set the maximum allowed rating to be displayed.

    For example, my blog does not display Gravatars with a rating higher than PG, and this forum does not display Gravatars with a rating higher than G.
