Available Updates Not Showing

    Hello,

    We have the Forminator plugin enabled on a couple different websites, and we’ve been having an issue for at least a few months now, where the available Forminator plugin updates are not showing in the WordPress dashboard. Neither the Updates page or the Plugins page show that an update is available, despite there being a new release. This has been especially troubling as some of the recent updates have included security fixes, and we weren’t aware that the updates were available. This is only happening with the Forminator plugin, other plugin updates are showing as usual. Can you please let us know what might be causing this issue, and how we can fix it?

    Hello @marketeeringroup ,

    I hope you are doing well.

    Several factors may cause this issue. However, let us try one thing.

    Please edit the forminator.php file from the Forminator plugin using a file manager or FTP account, and update the “Update URI” from wordpress.org/plugins/forminator/ to https://wordpress.org/plugins/forminator/

    In some cases, this resolved the Update detection issue. Please check if this also resolves your issue.

    If so, our developers are already aware of this, and they will release a fix in future versions. However, there is no ETA.

    Hello,

    Thank you for getting back to me. I tested out this solution on a staging site, and it does appear to have fixed the issue. I now see the available updates in the dashboard. We’ll look out for the upcoming release, with the fix for this issue.

    Since the issue is acknowledged, I’m going to close this thread.

    We can’t give an estimated time yet for the fix but subscribing to our roadmap https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/ is a good way to be notified about upcoming versions, once they are released, it is going to be described at changelog found on https://wordpress.org/plugins/forminator/#developers

    Since the bug was acknowledged, reported and tasked to be fixed, we are marking this as resolved, but feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions.
