Can you try disabling the “Google Font”-optimization options on Settings -> Autoptmize -> Extra?
It’s the same, i have already test this, and now as i see the gtmetrix score is very bad.
Meanwhile i remove Cache Enabler and put the WP-Optimizer but without minify, but only with page cache from WP-Optimize, and for browsing now looks better(with Edge in win10, but Chrome looks bad, i don’t know why), but as gtmetrix score is very bad, maybe could you test also to see some parameters for evaluating, thanks.

OK, can we take a step back and first and foremost try to identify what is breaking fonts by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps need to be 🙂

Hi, as i see all the fonts have the same error on displaying diacritics, i mean romanian characters, i use bebas nueue, montserrat, oswald and roboto as i remember. So the bug is not only a specific font, this affect all the fonts, but only on displaying romanian characters.

Back with some tests, i have uncheck step by step those optimise settings from Autoptimize (disabling CSS or JS or HTML) and test with Edge browser and from my evaluation i say that this settings “Also aggregate inline CSS?” could be the problem, because when i deselect it and apply shift+F5 from browser it display corectly posts after posts, even after reopening. This was not corectly displayed when this settings was activated and the others deselected one by one.
Strange is that using different browsers, like chrome or firefox in this situation they have some errors on displaying from time to time, when i open/reopen the same posts and only when i open a post for the first time and only then that post is displayed corectly and at reopening gives that font errors, for that i guess that could be a cache problem.
Now i use Autoptimize with WP-Optimiser as page cache and disabled minify (JS and CSS are optimized by Autoptimize), but the score obtained from Gtmetrix is very bad! aprox. 25s, but when the page is take it from the cache it display fast, i don’t know if this score is something real?

p.s.-late edit, i reopen others posts from the same browser Edge, that on which i have test what i write above and from time to time it give me error on displaying those romanian fonts, so this settings mentioned is not stable, maybe is another thing that work wrong…i guess that browsers react in a different way to those settings(from the plug in i mean), because if i open a post corectly from Edge for example, if i use to reopen the same post from Firefox is opened in a wrog way, with error on romanian fonts, and i think that that post is open from a cache i guess and there is the same info displayed corectly before, no?

so when you disable “optimize CSS” entirely or if you untick “aggregate CSS”, does the problem go away in that case?
Hi, both. I have try first deactivate the all “optimize CSS” and after that step by step the others in the CSS section and only when i deactivate only “aggregate CSS”. Both settings have the same better result, but are not stable, i have test also on mobile device too and of course remain the high value for the open time…
As i say, when goes wrong, only the first post open will work corectly and at a reopening will go with errors, when, i guess, the browser download from cache, because the reopening goes fast.
Viorel
p.s.- i leave the same settings mentioned before, with Autoptimize and with WP-Optimize as page cache plugin, but the speed of site is very bad at first opening, after from cache is good. Could test you too the page opening and have an evaluation, thanks.

Both settings have the same better result, but are not stable
so do I understand correctly the font issue can still happen with CSS optimization off?
No, only with that off will function corectly, now is only “aggregate inline CSS” OFF and this work after a one day cache…could you try you too some open/reopen posts to have an evaluation? Thanks.
Viorel
p.s.- late edit, i also test this… if i reopen a post in Edge browser for example is displayed corectly, but if i try to open the same post in Firefox this will give me error on opening, i don’t know if the other browser open the post/page from cache directly, because that could be a reason for this malfunction.

if i reopen a post in Edge browser for example is displayed corectly, but if i try to open the same post in Firefox this will give me error on opening,
and is the case even if “aggregate inline CSS” is off?
Yes, but with different browser then Edge.
Edge work ok, but others no, strange…did you test with which browser?

In Firefox, also saw the missing glyphs on your site .. So this keeps on happening, even if “optimize CSS” is entirely off?
Hi, right now i have test with no CSS optimize (“optimize CSS” is entirely off) and in Firefox now looks good at reopening posts.
Remains Chrome browser with malfunctioning with CSS entirely off, that browser still display with error from open/reopen, Chrome browser as i read, if has some plugin activated, could give such an erros, maybe…or a problem with his cache, because when i open first time a post, not those opened before with othe browser, it display coreclty.
Viorel
p.s.- update, also i have seen when i inspect WP-Optimize that is a mentioned there about two Apaceh modules that looks to be inactive and here is the messahe from WP:
“Browser static file caching headers are currently disabled.
We successfully updated your .htaccess file. But it seems one of Apache modules – mod_expires or mod_headers is not active.”
Could this create some malfunctioning on the cache part?

seems to work in all browsers for me now, but I think page caching is currently off?
Right now, what you have test is cache page set it from WP-Optimize plugin and others from Autoptimize with CSS optimize entirely off.
Regarding the speed test of site did you have any scores from me it looks very high as time almost 26 sec. for open?
Viorel
p.s.-how can i check if cache page is working? i test on ftp to see if the folder with the content is created there in the wordpress cache folder, is any other method?
